Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

Women of St. James' -- we want to share some exciting news!

For the past couple of months, a team of women parishioners, along with direction and guidance from Rev. Kate and Pastor Mary, as well as the perspectives of long-time ECW members, have been working to re-energize the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) ministry here at St. James'!

You may be wondering, "What is ECW?"

ECW at St. James' can be summed up by the following mission statement:

"The Episcopal Church Women's Ministry of St. James' will harness the creativity, intelligence and passion for Christ of the women of St. James' in such a way that each woman embarking upon a relationship with Christ will feel an increased sense of community through opportunities for fellowship, study and outreach; and a sense that they are having a meaningful impact on the broader community of God's kingdom in a meaningful way."

This ministry will be open to ALL women of St. James', regardless of age or stage of life. The events of the ministry will be geared to meet the needs of all women by offering varying activities that meet the schedules and interests of all women.
