Education for Ministry (EfM)

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a comprehensive four-year Bible and theological study program. The 2.5-hour weekly seminar includes time for fellowship, worship, text discussion, and theological reflection. EfM groups (consisting of 6 to 10 students) are a safe place to explore and question one's theology in a loving, supportive, Christian community. Exercises in theological reflection help participants recognize how God's Holy Spirit is moving in their lives and provides the foundation they need to understand and execute God's call.

EfM groups are open to anyone, regardless of previous Bible study experience. DoCC participants who want to further explore their theology may be especially interested in EfM.
