"Joining St. James'" Membership Class
If you are interested in learning more about St. James', we invite you to attend Joining St. James', a three-part class taught by Fr. John and Rev. Kate. This informal, lively class is designed to introduce you to the unique features of St. James', and -- through our exploration of The Book of Common Prayer -- will help you develop a greater appreciation for what goes on each Sunday morning in worship.
Just a reminder -- you need not be an Episcopalian in order to be a member of St. James'. This class is a prerequisite if you wish to be confirmed or received at the Bishop's Visit on Sunday, June 10, 2012.
The Joining St. James' membership class will be held on three consecutive Sundays in the winter: January 29, February 5 & 12, 2012, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. A light lunch will be provided, and child care will be available. There will be a $30 per person fee that will cover food and course materials. Financial aid is available. No one should not attend for lack of funds.
