Nourished by Word and Sacrament, we are sent out to do the work God has given us to do, to love and serve God as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord

Burning of the Greens

"Twelfth Night," or Epiphany, is celebrated with the annual Burning of the Greens. Parishioners burn Christmas trees and other greens for a gigantic bonfire celebrating the Light of Christ coming into the world on one of the darkest (and often one of the coldest) nights of the year.

To celebrate Epiphany or "Twelfth Night", all parishioners are invited to bring their Christmas tree and other greens to a huge bonfire to celebrate the light and warmth of Christ coming into the world on one of the darkest (and often one of the coldest) nights of the year.

Please join us at the Hatch Farm just south of Leesburg on Friday, January 6, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., for our annual Burning of the Greens.

For directions to the Hatch Farm or for more information, contact the Church Office.
