Intercessory Prayer

The Intercessory Prayer Team is a group of people committed to pray daily for those in need. We receive prayer requests from the congregation either directly or through the Church Office. We are committed to pray for these persons for at least one month.

Each month, a member of the team volunteers to lead the group in a brief service of worship. This can entail reading from The Book of Common Prayer, or bringing in an appropriate meditation to share. This is then followed by a period of silence and prayer, after which we update the prayer list.

The Prayer Team meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Chancel of the Nave. We like to meet there, for it is intimate, and we feel close to the congregation for whom we are praying.
