The Parish Library's mission is to provide materials to enrich the spiritual, emotional and intellectual lives of the congregation, support the various ministries of St. James', and supply clergy and staff with appropriate resources. The collection consists of almost 1,000 items, including fiction and non-fiction books, CDs, DVDs and periodicals. Children's books, contemporary literature, biographies and classic texts are among the many offerings to be found on the library shelves. The Parish Library is housed in the newly refurbished Parish House, where it occupies a warm, inviting space on the main floor. Parishioners as well as community members may borrow materials, which can be checked out on the honor system.
