Pastoral Associates

Pastoral care-giving is the way parishioners minister to each other within a church context. Members meet on the third Monday of each month to organize ministry activities, enhance efforts with awareness of the ministry, and address parish needs. They visit the homebound to provide fellowship, sometimes taking Sunday communion; host receptions following funeral services; organize and host social gatherings aimed primarily at our older parishioners; take meals to homes; and make hospital visits when needed. But their most important function is to listen, listen, listen when a person needs an ear.
