The Holy Spirit has built an exciting and powerful youth program at St. James'. The group consists of youth leaders, volunteers, and students under the direction of Matt Shankle, Interim Youth Pastor, and Pastor Mary Davila, Assistant to the Rector for Children and Youth Ministries, with a vision of guiding youth to an everyday life with Jesus Christ.
Youth Group explores what it means to live a Christian life -- how our relationship with Christ shapes our decisions, friendships, and encounters at school and at home. Each gathering features a game or two, a lesson, an activity, and pizza.
We also go on lots of outings, such as ski trips and weekends at Shrine Mont. We go bowling, watch movies, meet for dinner, and hang out!
Middle School youth (6-8 grades) are invited to attend Youth Group every scheduled Sunday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., normally in the Youth Room. Senior High Meets from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Sundays, also in the Youth Room.
