Youth and adults (chaperones) interested in participating in any of the summer mission trips listed below must email the Church Office to request a registration packet and to reserve a spot.
Contact Mo. Siobhán for more information oh how you can get involved in youth mission trips.
St. James' Senior High youth may participate in Beach Towel Saturday, July 20-Saturday, July 27, 2013. Beach Towel, in Swansboro, NC, is an offering within the Towel ministry mission efforts. St. James' youth and adults engage in home repair and relationship building with the people who live in the homes.
Unfortunately, this trip will not be offered for Summer 2013. Towel Ministries has decided to combine this mission with Beach Towel in July.
Middle School and Senior High youth (college students and adults are welcome, too!) will travel to Rutland, MA, Sunday, August 4-Thursday, August 8, to take care of the ranch animals, learn about environmental sustainability, and spend a night in the Global Village, where they take on the identity of a person living in a developing nation.
This mission trip is open to youth ages 6th grade and up. The cost is $275, and completed registration packet and checks are due to St. James' by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14. We need a minimum of 12 participants (youth and adult chaperones) to go on this trip.
Please contact Mo. Siobhán with any questions.
