Gathering During COVID-19

Let us join together again now in our church building, in both song and worship.

Let us continue to enjoy the choice of worship, wherever we may be!

Since the CDC updated its guidance based on their study of the highly contagious Delta variant of COVID-19, St. James' has updated our protocols in order to keep all worshippers safe.

According to the updated guidance, even those who are fully vaccinated are advised to wear masks when attending public indoor gatherings in counties with "substantial" or "high" coronavirus transmission. Loudoun County continues to fall into a "substantial" transmission rate, and, as requested by Bishop Susan Goff, of the Diocese of Virginia, we request that all who attend worship be masked.

Effective August 1, 2021:

In order to continue moving around the Nave to exchange the Peace, we ask that all worshippers wear masks indoors, regardless of their vaccination status. The readers, organist, and preacher will remove their masks when speaking and while being distanced, but masks will be worn while distributing communion.

The 10:00 AM Worship Service will continue to be livestreamed through the St. James' Facebook Page. The service bulletins are available on the Worship tab > St. James' Livestreaming.

Thank you for your continued flexibility as we strive to "love all our neighbors" in this way.
