Planned Giving
The St. James’ Community has impacted your life immeasurably--include the Church in your estate planning to ensure that this place of joy, community, and love can continue to impact lives for generations to come.
The Vestry has established a planned giving program to further the preservation of our historic structure and the ongoing vitality of our ministries. This program will allow for intentional and proper support for the generosity of St. James’ parishioners and friends. To facilitate planned giving, St. James’ Vestry has established two funds to receive planned gifts to the Church. These funds are distinct from our annual operating budget, which is supported by our Annual Stewardship Pledge Campaign, and which will continue to fund our core operations.
What is planned giving, and how is it different from making a pledge?

Planned giving includes a variety of ways to make financial gifts to St. James’ from accumulated resources to fund future mission and ministries of the Church. Planned giving is different from your annual pledge, which funds current operations and programs.
