Worship Services During the COVID-19 Pandemic
While we are fasting from physical worship services due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we gather virtually each week for worship: join us Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. on Facebook Live: www.facebook.com/stjamesleesburg
See instructions here or visit facebook.com/stjamesleesburg/live to join our worship services.

When we regather:
Sunday: 7:45 a.m.
Holy Eucharist, Rite I (Contemplative)
Our early morning worship uses the more traditional language of The Book of Common Prayer and usually does not feature music.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m.
Holy Eucharist, Rite II (Contemporary)
This worship service draws the largest number of families with children because it features a blend of traditional hymns with more family-friendly music and songs.
Sunday: 10:10 a.m.
Church School and Adult Forum (fall, winter and spring)
Sunday: 11:15 a.m.
Holy Eucharist, Rite II (Classical)
A traditional Rite II liturgy is enhanced with classical hymns and music led by an adult parish choir and musicians from the Shenandoah University Music program.
Wednesday: Noon
Holy Eucharist Rite II and Healing.
What about children's worship?
-
Children of any age are welcome in our worship.
-
To assist parents during worship, we offer child care for infants and toddlers in our Nursery and an Activity Room for children through first grade.
-
We also provide a “non-anxious” area in the entry behind the glass doors where you can stay with a fussy child and still listen to worship.
-
Our younger worshipers can pick up a “Busy Board” (for ages 3-6) or Children’s Bulletin (for 7 to 12) so they can belong to the worship experience, and so they know worship is for them, too!
